This guide outlines the approved process for revealing and using a unit’s Backup Door Code in Sapphire. This process should only be used for authorized activities such as work orders, leasing tours, inspections, or other operational needs.

Step 1: Navigate to the Unit

1. Open Sapphire

2. Navigate to the Unit view for the correct property

3. Scroll to the unit you need

4. Open the Unit Detail view as shown below

Step 2: Locate the Backup Code Section

• Scroll down to the Backup Code section within the Unit Detail view

📱 Mobile Note:

On mobile devices, the Manage option is hidden by default.

You must swipe left on the Backup Code row to reveal the Manage button.

Step 3: Open Backup Code Management

• Click or tap Manage to continue

Step 4: Reveal the Backup Code

1. Click Reveal Backup Code

2. Select a reason for accessing the unit

Step 5: Access the Unit

1. Click Reveal

2. Use the displayed code on the unit door lock

*Resident receives a push notification.

• Click Finish and Reset after unit access </aside>
